Notes: Rates are computed for students who were enrolled with degree-seeking status on the census date for the baseline term. The retention rate is the percentage of those students who were also enrolled on the census date of the followup term.
The baseline term for the "Second Year % Retained" rate is the fall semester of the cohort's second year. E.g. population for the 2000 cohort's second year rate is students who were degree-seeking FTIACs in 2000 and returned in Fall 2001. The rate shown is the percentage of those students who persisted into the fall semester of 2002.

Asterisks and daggers indicate that the given rate is statistically significantly different (p < 0.05) from the retention rate for all other students in the cohort. For example, the retention rate for Kent County students is compared to the rate for all the students who weren't from Kent County (not to the rate for students from any other particular county). A dagger (†) indicates a rate that is significantly below average, while an asterisk (*) indicates an above-average retention rate.
